01Who we are
Prosperity Revived ("we," "us," "our") is the operator of the Prosperity Revived mobile application and related services. We are based in the United States and the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia govern this policy unless your local law requires otherwise.
In this policy, "you" or "your" refers to anyone who uses the app or visits this website, and "Service" refers to the Prosperity Revived app, this website, and any related features.
02Information we collect
Information you give us directly
- Account information. When you create an account: your email address, name (if provided), and a profile photo (if you choose to upload one).
- Onboarding answers. Goals, interests, and lifestyle context you share during onboarding so we can personalize the app.
- Activity content. Journal entries, prayers, gratitude reflections, mood check-ins, workouts, meal logs, scripture bookmarks, and other content you create in the app.
- Community content. Posts, comments, prayer requests, and group activity you choose to share with the community.
- Conversations with AI guides. Messages you exchange with the AI coaching characters in the app.
- Communications. Messages you send us through email or in-app support.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data. Device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, crash logs, and basic interaction patterns.
- Approximate location. Derived from your IP address — used for things like region-appropriate content. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly grant the permission for a specific feature.
Information from third parties
- Sign-in providers. If you sign in with Apple or another supported provider, we receive the basic profile information that provider releases.
- Health data (only if you connect it). If you choose to connect Apple Health, we read only the categories you authorize. You can disconnect at any time in your device settings.
What we do not collect: We do not collect biometric data, your contacts, your photo library, your microphone, or your location in the background. We do not track you across other apps and websites.
03How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide and personalize the Service — including reading plans, suggested practices, AI coach responses, and community features.
- Maintain your account and keep your content synced and backed up.
- Improve the Service through aggregated, de-identified analytics and crash reporting.
- Communicate with you about service updates, support requests, and important policy changes.
- Protect the integrity of the Service — detecting fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your content with advertisers, and we do not use your private journals, prayers, or AI conversations to train models that are sold or licensed to other companies.
04Legal basis for processing
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar laws, our legal basis for processing depends on the purpose:
- Contract: processing necessary to deliver the Service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests: improving the Service, preventing fraud, and securing our systems.
- Consent: for optional features like Apple Health integration or marketing emails.
- Legal obligation: when we are required to retain or disclose information by law.
05How we share information
We share information only in these limited cases:
- Other community members. Anything you choose to post publicly in the community feed, groups, or prayer wall is visible to other users.
- Service providers. Vetted vendors who help us run the Service (hosting, authentication, analytics, customer support, AI infrastructure).
- Legal requirements. If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.
- Business transfers. If Prosperity Revived is acquired or merges with another company, your information may transfer as part of the transaction. We will notify you and give you choices before any change of control.
06Third-party services
The Service relies on a small number of trusted infrastructure partners, each bound by their own privacy commitments:
- Cloud hosting and database for securely storing your account and content.
- Authentication for secure sign-in and account recovery.
- AI providers for powering the AI coach conversations. Messages are processed under contracts that prohibit using your content to train their general-purpose models.
- Crash and performance analytics for detecting and fixing bugs.
- Email delivery for transactional and support emails.
We do not embed third-party advertising trackers, social media pixels, or data brokers in the Service.
07How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account:
- Your private content (journals, prayers, AI conversations, mood check-ins) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Public community posts may remain visible to other members but are dissociated from your identifying information.
- Backups are purged within 90 days.
- We may retain a minimal record (e.g., your hashed email) where required for legal compliance.
08How we protect information
We use reasonable, industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive fields, access controls limiting production access to authorized personnel only, audit logging on sensitive operations, and routine security review of our infrastructure.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you without undue delay and provide guidance on protective steps.
09Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your account and personal information.
- Export a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent for processing based on consent.
You can exercise most of these rights from inside the app under Settings → Privacy → Manage My Data, or by emailing prosperityrevived2025@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
10Children's privacy
Prosperity Revived is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We offer a separate Christ-centered app, Prosperity Revived Kids, which has its own age-appropriate privacy policy.
11International users
Our servers are located in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand and consent that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for cross-border transfers.
12California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA provide additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of minors under 16.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves or as laws change. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify you in-app or by email before the change takes effect.
